Sewing Lessons & Pattern Making
Private and small-group sewing, pattern, and draping classes.

What's included
The work behind the work.
Machine basics, garment construction, and pattern drafting for every level — taught by working couturiers.
Every piece is handled by a senior couturier from intake to final press. We document the work at each fitting, source matching threads, beads and lace where needed, and finish by hand. Nothing leaves the atelier without a steam press and a final QA pass.
Included
- Private 1-on-1 lessons
- Small-group beginner courses
- Pattern-drafting & draping
- Garment reconstruction workshops
The details
Good to know.
Lessons are taught by working couturiers in the atelier, on real machines, with real garments — not classroom demos.
Private 1-on-1 sessions move at your pace: machine basics, garment construction, repairs, or a specific project you've been stuck on.
Pattern-drafting and draping classes cover how a design becomes a pattern and a pattern becomes a garment — the same process we use for custom gowns.
Pricing
Priced by session or course
Private lessons are booked by the session; small-group beginner courses are priced per course. Contact us for current scheduling and rates — lessons are tailored to your goals, whether that's hemming your own clothes or drafting patterns.
All levels welcome — machines and materials guidance included.
Schedule ConsultationCommon questions
Asked at almost every fitting.
Do I need my own sewing machine?
No — lessons take place in the atelier on our machines. If you have a machine at home, we'll help you get comfortable on that too.
I've never sewn before. Can I still join?
Absolutely — beginner courses start from threading the machine, and private lessons adapt completely to your level.
Do you teach pattern making?
Yes — pattern-drafting and draping are core parts of the curriculum, taught the same way we build custom gowns.
